I bought the Eastpak Tranverz s on the back of personal recommendation and after a great deal of internet research. I needed a light but tough weekend wheeled bag with a solid handle. The Eastpak comes with a 30 year guarantee and you can see why the manufacturers have such confidence in their product. The material is tough yet flexible, the handle is solid and strong and extends more than enough for me at 6 foot to be able to tow it without stooping. The wheels are solid and silent and wide enough apart to allow a proper tow, I hate those bags that have a mind of their own when being towed and end up behaving like a crazy dog behind you! The external grip handles are strong and in all the right places. The two internal compartments are such a great idea. I have just packed this for a three day break to Berlin and actually have space left!
The Front pocket is great for travel documents and the iPad. The compression straps are an added bonus, squashing things down if you got a bit carried away with the packing. The size is great, easily fitting in the airport carry on cages of the major airlines including Easy Jet and yes Ryan Air!!
You won't be disappointed, if you want a carry on bag that will do the job and last - look no further.
