Summer Camping Recipes

Summer is the perfect time to go camping; long days enable you to make the most of exploring your surroundings, warmer nights won’t leave you shivering in your sleeping bag, and sunny evenings make for the perfect al fresco dining. Campfire cooking needn’t be boring, so we’ve created the best 3 course meal you’ll have this season.

Starters- Jalapeño Poppers

You will need:

  1. Transport ingredients in cooler box.
  2. Split jalapeños down the centre and scrape out all the seeds.
  3. Mix cream cheese, honey and chilli powder together in a small bowl.
  4. Spoon cream cheese into each jalapeño.
  5. Stick jalapeño back together.
  6. Wrap bacon around each jalapeño to keep the cream cheese inside the jalapeño.
  7. Grill poppers for around 20 minutes, until the bacon is crispy.


Mains- Pizza Quesadillas

You will need:

  1. Transport ingredients in cooler box.
  2. Place tortilla out and spread 1tbsp pizza sauce on. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Top with other tortilla.
  3. Place in Uuni oven for one minute.
  4. Cut into quarters and serve with salsa.


Desert- Grilled banana s’mores

You will need:

  1. Slice banana lengthwise and place in middle of foil.
  2. Insert chocolate chips and marshmallows into middle of banana.
  3. Wrap banana in foil and grip for around 5-6 minutes. Toast marshmallows.
  4. Unwrap banana and eat once cooled.
