Cotopaxi

Located in the Ecuadorian region of the Andes, stands the active stratovolcano Cotopaxi, where founder, Davis Smith spend several years of his childhood. He witnessed the severe poverty of the area and vowed to make a difference, which is why he combined his passion for travel and humanitarian work and established the outdoor apparel brand 'Cotopaxi'. Smith wanted the name to represent the spirit of adventure, optimism, and determination he'd experienced in Ecuador, which is reflected in the vibrant and colourful clothing and accessories the brand produces. Cotopaxi is a certified B Corporation as they put 1% of its profits toward addressing poverty and supporting community development, and also providing grants, creating fair conditions in the manufacturing process, and producing sustainable clothing that is timeless, built to last and most importantly ethical. The bright and unique range includes windproof jackets packed with recycled insulation, organic cotton t-shirts, warm fleeces made from repurposed fabric and one of a kind Del Día bags created by an employee with creative control over the pack's colourway. Cotopaxi creates outdoor apparel like no other, packed full of personality and with a built-in connection between their team of designers, sewers, and you.
